We had not, previously, thought about keeping Bengalese finches. They lack the attractiveness of many finches and are a consequence of aviculture, not nature. However, a group of 9 needed a home and so we took them in. We have not regreted this as they are sociable, neither troubling other birds nor being troubled themselves.
