We have only recently, in 2017, encountered this species but we are pleased to be able to add it to the collection. It brings with it all of the qualities that we have come to expect and enjoy about the doves. This species nests on the ground and so we will keep an eye out to see if the right conditions prevail for it. If not, we may move it to other aviaries until we get it right.
